I am associate professor in Computer Science at the University of Salamanca .

My research interests are Bioinformatics and Information Visualization , especially the integration of different source data, analysis algorithms and representations for a better understanding of biological problems.

I am director of the Diploma de Especializacion en Bionformática y Genómica Computaciónal

I am the author of the book Cómo se organizan las máquinas. Una introducción a los Sistemas Distribuidos.
